A Wedding and A Funeral...

Krishnan just got back from his vacation (read honeymoon) after his marriage. Looks fresh and chubby (he said that himself). Project work still continues. We established database connectivity for our application, but then we find out that we've to do it with code.

By the way, remember the smallest employee (the squirrel) I'd earlier told you about- well, we found him dead in the air conditioner's air vent on our floor. He was wrapped up in a plastic bag and carried out. Neil used to curse it so much for running up on him.

RIP, furball, RIP.

First Phase and how!!

Well, all's been well so far, both in colege and the office. We've been asked to submit our project details to our lecturers soon. I kinda guess its unfair, since there're a lot of people who've not been placed or have got a project yet. Or maybe this is just another gimmick to quicken things up a bit, eh?

3GSM 2006 just got over and a slew of new handsets and technologies are out. I was particularly blown away by what ASUS (they've got everything- from everything to everything) came out with - a Windows powered mobile deivce called the P 305; candybar in shape with a QVGA screen. They, disappointingly, havent let out any details of the device except that its a 3G handset.

I was planning on picking up the Nokia 9300i communicator (old wine, old bottle- but this time with Wi-Fi) or the N80, but the ASUS P305 put those plans on hold. Lotsa ooomph and I'm drooling already!!

We're Back.

Oh yeah - we're back, alright!!

Exams just got over on the 4th of February and we're in office today. And from now on, it'll be full time project work. Finally, no more running to college to finish off any projects or studies or collect notes. Yeehaw!!

Exams went fine, except for Unix (we were taught by some big shot). Aced the labs as well. Got our stipends for January and damn- it aint a weekend!! Chandan's in Germany and we (Trivium and I-Cope) will be moving into a new building only in April or May. That'll gimme enough and more time to get my bike ready.
